Hey All!!!
It's been a little too long since I last posted something faaaaabulous. I just wanted to reassure everyone I am still on the Creative wagon... it's my passion, so I'll never fall off. HOWEVER, I have been so so busy... and I've let my blog fall to the back burner. I have a few things going on, Colors & Bottles events, up-coming gallery shows, and a few commissioned pieces in the works!ALSO, it's that holiday season, and I don't know about you, but I have a ton of friends and family to buy for. That being said, I have a ton of friends and family who already have it all... so that brings up a lot of questions on what the heck to buy them?!? As an artist I take it upon myself to make them special, one-of-a-kind pieces. Not all paintings, and actually none of these 'gifts' are paintings, I like to make functional, every-day items that can be used, and I think that all could create with the right instructions. Everyone loves a conversation piece, and that's what I try to convey. I am not a DIY blog, however, if you look at posts from this time a year ago... I gave some great DIY gift ideas. I will be doing that again this year, I'll be posting ideas, and finished pieces of great DIY gifts... Family and friends who follow my blog frequently, don't worry, I won't give away any hints as to whose gifts are whose... but you may be treated to a sneak peak. :)
Black Friday is coming up.... so remember to be nice to your retail workers, respect other shoppers, and most importantly it's the season of love, giving, and compassion... so ACT like it. ;)
Then when all is said and done... book this painting session to end your Black Friday shopping! :)
If this particular painting isn't your cup of tea, or Black Friday painting doesn't appeal to you... check out the calendar, or message me directly to find out the other paintings, and dates I'll be instructing.
Keep in mind for you non-Ohioians... I would love the opportunity to travel else where to book a private event. Colors and Bottles offers classes all over the country! :)
Remember, in the great words of Pablo Picaso, "Every child is an artist, the problem is staying an artist as you grow up".
Peace, Love, and ART,
Brittany
